On the day

  1. The Market runs from 4 to 7pm.
Your stall must be open and supervised during these times. Stalls CANNOT be packed away until after the finished time. If there are extenuating circumstances requiring you leave early, you must arrange this with the market coordinator before the market. If one stall holder starts to pack up early, others follow. This is not a good look for the market as we are opened at advertised times.
  2. Access and Set-up - You will have access to your site between 2.00– 3.30pm at which point vehicles must be removed from the site. Please empty your vehicle as quickly as possible and remove it from the market site.
For public safety, vehicles must not move through the market between 3.45 am - 7 pm. If you have arranged to arrive late your vehicle must not be driven on to the grounds.
  3. Parking- there is limited parking on site. Stall holders are to unload and then park either on a reserved parking space or on surrounding streets.
  4. All other rubbish that is a by-product from your stall (i.e. packaging, general rubbish that doesn't get passed on to the customer) must be taken with you. Please leave your site clean, tidy and free of litter. Take all rubbish and recycling home with you. We are an eco-friendly market and require that where possible you do not use single-use plastic.
  5. Smoking and alcohol are not permitted.
  6. Please ensure you have adequate change. We do not carry a spare float for stall holders. There is no ATM on site but customers may get cash out from the local dairy on Ferry Road.
  7. Security - It is your responsibility to keep your float, stock, takings and valuables safe at all times.
  8. Dogs are not permitted in the market area without a leash and must be under control at all times.
  9. All accidents and hazards must be reported to the market coordinator.
  10. In the event of an emergency, please stay calm and use common sense. There is first aid kit located in the Wairuatanga (SheShed). Please seek the help of the market coordinator. Please ensure you have read the Market Health and Safety Plan prior to the market.

Cancellation

Weather - if the weather is extreme you will be notified by 10 am on the day by email, phone, txt or messenger and your booking will roll over to the next market. If the market is running and you choose not to attend you will still be liable for the full site fee for that market. It doesn't look very good if we have unexpected gaps in our plan where stall holders have failed to show. If you are unable to attend a booked market you must contact the market coordinator by 5 pm on the Thursday before a market. Refunds will only be given at the discretion of the market coordinator.
